Crumbs - what a nerve shredder. The first test between the Lions and the Wallabies in Brisbane went down to the wire. Kurtley Beale had the chance to win the game for the Wallabies with the last kick of the game, but fluffed the penalty attempt. Every Lions' fan breathed a sigh of relief.
It had been a close game throughout. Folau scored 2 cracking tries for the Wallabies. George North and Alex Cuthbert replied with one each for the Lions. At 20 - 12, the Lions should have wrapped the game up. Instead they messed up a couple of scrums, allowing Beale 2 penalty attempts, both of which he missed.
It's all set up for the second test in Melbourne. First, the Lions take on the Melbourne Rebels on Tuesday night. YIC will, of course, be there.
And finally, just what is going on in the last photo? Is YIC saying his prayers for a Lions victory? Not on this occasion. Rather it's the Canberra Millers' fiendish exercise programme being put into effect. Lesser men have crumbled at the prospect.
